2nd longest river india. Also known as Gautami River.1465 km in length.otiginates from Nasik hills, ends in Bay of Bengal. Flows in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh.

3- KRISHNA (कृष्णा) RIVER

1400 Km in length,O originates from Mahabaleshwar , Maharashtra and ends in Bay of Bengal.
The river flows in Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh.

4- YAMUNA (यमुना) RIVER

1376 in length. Originates from yamunotri and ends in Bay of Bengal.
Flows in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana.
This river have religious importance.

5- NARMADA (नर्मदा) RIVER

1312 Km in length. Originates from Amarkantak hills and ends in Arabian sea
Flows in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat.
This river is considered as holy river in India.

6- SINDHU/INDUS(सिन्धु) RIVER

Overall length approximate 2900km but it flows only 1114 Km in India. Originates from Kailash and ends in Arabian sea. Flow in Indian state of  Jammu& Kashmir and rest in tibet and Pakistan.

7- BRAHAMPUTRA (ब्रह्मपुत्र ) RIVER

Overall length is approximately 2900 Km but 914 Km part of river flows in India. Originates from lake Mansarover and ends in Bay of Bengal.
Flows in India states of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Assam, West Bengal and rest in tibet, bhutan, Bangladesh.

10- TAPTI/TAPI (ताप्ती) RIVER

724 Km in length . Originates from Bettul and ends in Arabian sea. Flows in Maharashtra, Madhya Pardesh, Gujarat.
